The Seychelles is a group of about 115 islands which lie 1600 km off the coast of East Africa.
Seychelles 115 island fall into two distinct groups, the granitic Inner Islands Mahe,
Praslin,
La Digue,
Anonyme,
that lie within the relatively shallow Seychelles plateau, 4 Degree South of
the Equator.
The Outer Islands are themselves further divided into five grops
The Amirantes Group lying 230 km distant from Mahe, The Southern Coral Group, Alphonse Group, Farquhar Group and the Aldabra Group 1150 km from Mahe.
Seychelles enjoys tropical climate all year around. During the North West Trade Winds between the months of October and March, the sea is generally calm
and the weather is warm and humid.
